Myriam Sophie Deslauriers

Director
Splitting her time between Montréal and her hometown of Carleton-sur-Mer, Myriam Sophie has been active in the music industry for nearly a decade. Starting her career as a tour manager (Safia Nolin, Les Soeurs Boulay, Matt Holubowski), she co-founded the BleuBleu Music Festival in Carleton-sur-Mer in 2019, where she serves as co-executive and artistic director.

A graduate of the Théâtre program at Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe, she draws on her acting experience and deep knowledge of the performing arts to develop her music staging practice. With a sensitive ear and meticulous attention to stage space and lighting, she strives to amplify the artist's world, highlighting its essence. In recent years, she has contributed to the staging of shows for Jean-Michel Blais, Les Soeurs Boulay, Les Louanges, and Beyries.

Deeply connected to her roots and the maritime culture, she remains actively involved in Gaspésie, notably as the chair of the board of directors for the Carleton Yacht Club.
